Research projects at EBCL:

 

Foreign exploration, discovery, identification, and nontarget testing of new natural enemies of the invasive weeds, swallow-worts: Vincitoxicum spp., and the pest insects, vine mealy bug and Lygus bugs.

 

Areas of scientific interest:

 

In addition to biological control of pest insects and weeds: ecology and behavior of

insect egg parasitoids, bionomics of the Heteroptera, pathogen - parasitoid interactions.

 

Experience:

 

Over thirty years conducting research on non-chemical methods of pest insect and weed management in soybean, cotton, vegetable and forage crop production, both in the U.S. and abroad.

 

Other:

 

Fishing, motorcycling, racquetball.
